The purpose of this article is to analyze the effects of privatization on the productivity of public enterprises in Cameroon. Statistical tests and the econometric model SUR (Seemingly Unrelated Regression) are used. The results show a mixed impact of privatization on firm productivity. In terms of dynamic effects, although the impact of privatization is positive for 7 out of 9 companies, only 4 out of 9 companies witnessed a positive and significant effect of privatization on productivity.
