T-T-T Diagrams and C-C-T Diagrams for Growth of Sillenite Single-Crystals

For sillenite type crystals, 6Bi2O3•ESiO2, 6Bi2O3•EGeO2 and 6Bi2O3•ETiO2, T-T-T (Time-Temperature-Transfor mation) diagrams and C-C-T (Continuous-Cooling-Transformation) diagrams are presented based on X ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. These diagrams indicate growth parameters for obtaining ƒÁ-phase: melting temperature, holding time and cooling rate. The results are in good agreement with melting temperature, holding time and cooling rate in growth process of single-crystals reported elsewhere.
