Hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP), including preeclampsia, complicate 10% of all pregnancies, causing maternal and fetal morbidity and mortality. In Bangladesh, 24% of all maternal deaths are directly attributed to hypertensive causes. Conventional antenatal care (ANC) practices often delay in detecting or miss HDP, which makes the women vulnerable to their adverse consequences.
