Static nature as a genre has developed throughout history. It evolved according to several factors: social, cultural, religious. In the European space, the first manifestations of static nature still exist in ancient times (Greece and ancient Rome), less is practiced in the medieval and Renaissance period, and its formation as an autonomous genus takes place in the modern period (17th-19th centuries). The static nature is treated according to the stylistic peculiarities of each era and the aesthetic preferences of the artist/author.
