He has published and presented 60+ papers in the areas of electrical engineering applications, computer applications and biotechnology. He has 20+ years experience in teaching engineering, science, and math. He received an R&D award in 1996 from the R&D Magazine 100 Awards Program for the new development of " IS4000 Solder Paste Statistical Process Control (SPC) System". He also received the GAANN Doctoral Fellowship for four years during his doctoral studies. He has three US patents on solder

His current research areas of interest are problem based learning (PBL), wireless communications, biotechnology, and electrical sensors.
