The normative analysis of private security in Colombia requires paying attention to the way in wich the public power guarantees that its operators comply with the law.The sanctioning system and the department destined to control are the two tools of the State to ensure compliance with the rule of law.This work studies the way in which these tools are regulated in Colombia.
