The results showed that the role of headmaster in improving the professionalism of teachers in SDN Sudirman II has been well implemented and has been able to improve the professionalism of teachers, as evidenced by several activities conducted by the headmaster can help teachers improve the quality of process and learning outcomes. Implementation of academic supervision implementation starts from planning, implementation and follow-up of supervision so that teacher professionalism can increase. Overall the role of academic supervision can improve teacher performance in four aspects: pedagogic aspect, personality aspect, social aspect, and professional aspect.
