This research work presents the application of multi-cutting point abrasive brush for fine finishing of the flat brass plate. The abrasive brush is flexible and shapes itself under the strong effect of a magnetic field which has been applied with the help of permanent magnet having high flux density. Four process parameters rigorously investigate the machining process for material removal rate in addition to surface roughness as response variables. Magnetic abrasives are prepared with the

Subsequently, sintered compacts were crushed and sieved for different abrasive size. The results revealed that the surface roughness significantly declines with the increase in all four input process parameters. The high surface finish is the desired output characteristic and can be achieved at a higher level of input parameters within the range specified in the present study. However, the speed and quantity of abrasives caused a significant increase in the material removal rate. But, on another side, the material removal rate decreases with higher mesh number and machining time.
