This study focuses on the incident in which the district forestry service in cooperation with local police, military officers and a tree plantation company, PT Musi Hutan Persada (PT MHP), forcibly evicted 'illegal' encroachers from its concession area (Cawang area) in South Sumatra, Indonesia.
