The BGW protocol is a protocol for secure multiparty computation based on Shamir's secret sharing scheme. It allows the computation of functions by representing them as arithmetic circuits composed of addition and multiplication gates. Many steps of the protocol are quite efficient as they do not require encryption or communication.
