more » ... valuation of structural members, and the low energy absorption ability, the application to main structural members is a little. In this study, we investigate the seismic performance of a frame with a UBPC beam structure and a viscoelastic damper added to the stud shape. Static and dynamic horizontal loading experiments were conducted on the frame specimens. As a result of experiment, the basic mechanical properties were gained. We also examined the energy absorption capacity of the viscoelastic damper.
