... s, the number of overnight stays and the average stay, the simple regression model was used, so as to find out what percentage of the dependent variables is explained by the dependent variable. The Eviews program was used to create the simple regression model. Findings – Following the application of regression, we found out that in Calarasi County, 30% of the variation in the number of tourists is explained by the variation in existing accommodation capacity. There is also a weak link between existing accommodation capacity and the number of nights spent. Contribution – The present study focused on the influence of accommodation capacity on some indicators of tourist traffic, and the results could meet the decisions that local authorities could take regarding the support of accommodation units in the county.
