Solving a Fuzzy Transportation Problem by Stepping Stone Method

In this paper a new algorithm namely fuzzy stepping stone method is proposed for finding a fuzzy optimal solution for a fuzzy transportation problem where the transportation costs are hexagonal fuzzy numbers. The initial solution of for the fuzzy transportation problem the fuzzy north west corner method was used and for determining the optimality of obtained solution fuzzy stepping stone method is used.
