Examples of Finite Element Method in Electrochemistry

Yuki Kitazumi
2009 Review of Polarography
The finite element method is a useful tool to simulate the electrochemical system. Three calculations are carried out. The first is the ion-transfer reaction across the liquid-liquid interface having a curvature. The second is the ion-transfer reaction across the liquid-liquid interface in a flow-system. Finally, the double layer structure in the nanometer-sized pore is calculated.
