The administration of justice is firmest pillar of the government. The government is bound to dispense justice without any discrimination. Any person who has been convicted of crimes against state must be punished. Although the constitution of Pakistan grants power to president of Pakistan to pardon accused. This paper analysis the powers of president of Pakistan regarding pardon. Discuss the concept of pardon in Islam. Further, discuss the cases where president of Pakistan granted pardon under what circumstances.
