Swanson's Family Medicine Review: A Problem-Oriented Approach
A wide-ranging literature review of computer-based patient record (CPR) implementation over the past decade reveals that clinical, workflow, administrative, and revenue enhancement benefits of the CPR outweigh barriers and challenges -but only if healthcare organizations redesign certain work processes.
