The authors are interested in conducting research of teaching pedagogy as well as assessment strategies by incorporating art in mathematics education. In particular, authors are focusing on Calculus teaching as well as assessment through artwork. During the pilot 2013 Summer Calculus course at Borough of Manhattan Community College-The City University of New York, the first author incorporated art in teaching and assessment.
