Let 31 be the collection of all rings R such that for every Rmodule G, the centralizer near-ring MR(G) = {/: G -► G\f(rx) = rf(x), reR, x EG} is a ring. We show R e 31 if and only if MR(G) = EndÄ(G) for each /{-module G. Further information about 32 is collected and the Artinian rings in 31 are completely characterized.
