the definition of "investigative situation", linking it with the stages of investigative activity, which affects the transformation of such. At the same time, they do not agree that investigative situations cannot be digitized, since the question of their typilogization is positively resolved in the forensic theory, respectively, it is only a question of changing the information format. The article articulates the idea that in modern realities digital technologies are applicable to both investigative actions and operational activities.
