Effect of Spraying Regimes on Properties of Amorphous Carbon Coatings
2018
Nauka i Tehnika
The paper investigates the effect of condensation energy of emissioned flux of monatomic carbon, created by magnetronic dispersion, on properties of amorphous carbon coatings. While increasing discharge current from 0,5 up to 2,5 A coating density is increased from 2,3 up to 3,2 g/cm3. Finishing treatment of coatings in glow discharge (U = 1250 V; / = 0,15 A; t = 15 min) ensures hardness increase by 40 %. Electrical resistance of a coating is going up while increasing distance between the sprayed cathode and substrate.
