The increase in the prevalence of thoracic kyphosis in childhood and adolescence affects the whole spine, causing posture disruption, decreased muscle strength, and increased back pain and shortness. 7-8 weeks of exercise programs in conservative treatment of thoracic kyphosis are beneficial in reducing pain and correcting posture.
