City councils communicate using public relations and communication practices; therefore protocol is also an essential part of the communication tools used by these bodies, although they are the less important entities of the national political structure. As a result, reality proves the importance of protocol, as city councils are the institutions organizing the largest number of formal acts. According to this statement, this paper affirms that protocol is daily used in local spheres. This paper aims to analyze and spread the importance of everyday use of protocol techniques in local boards, techniques that these bodies normally put unconciously into practice.
