Laser Remelting Teratment of Plasma-Sprayed Cr2O3 Oxide Coatings

In the present paper, the influence of laser remelting on the structure and wear resistance of plasma sprayed Cr 2 O 3 oxide coatings is analysed. Sprayed coatings were remelted with the use of cw-CO 2 laser. Microstructural investigations were realised with the use of an optical microscope and the SEM method.
