The introduction of personal computers in engineering education allows using new complementary methods to reinforce theory and laboratory practices. In this paper, a complete software application is developed to study the behavior of the electric asynchronous machine using MATLAB®/Simulink. This tool allows complementing theoretical concepts, learning laboratory procedures and using software to solve numerical problems.
