We suggest that Optical coherence tomography (OCT) is a potential imaging modality capable of assisting diagnosis in pulmonary medicines. OCT can provide extremely high resolution imaging and be performed with flexible fiber-optic bronchoscopy with small diameter endoscopic probes.
