The dynamics of 1000 galaxies at z 1-2 as measured from KMOS
2019
Zenodo
Using ~60 nights of GTO observations with KMOS, we have measured the dynamics of ~1000 star forming galaxies at z~1-2. In this talk I will present some of the science highlights from this program, including: (i) how the ISM turbulence evolves with redshift, mass and star formation rate; (ii) the evolution of baryonic angular momentum of early disks, and how this controls the emergence of the Hubble Sequence; and (iii) the relation between baryonic and non-baryonic components in galaxies and how
