The goal of the experiments was the synthesis of compounds with elpasolit-like structure by means of electrocrystallization from high-temperature KOH-solution. The resulting compounds were compared with the products from high-temperature solution (HTS) cooling experiments with the same element-systems used for electrocrystallization.
