A 49-y ear-old man visited the Department of Urology at our hospital with hematuria and pollakisuria. He was diagnosed with a rectal carcinoma and bladder invasion and was referred to the Department of Surgery . We performed a low anterior resection and partial resection of the bladder with a D3 ly mph node dissection. The pathological diagnoses were tub1,SI,int,INFb,ly1,v0,N1,H0,M0,P0,and Stage IIIa,and the resection margin of the bladder was free. However,the patient continued to have
