BELARUS AND KAZAKHSTAN: THE PERCEPTION OF THEIR PEOPLES AND POLITICAL LEADERS IN RUSSIA

Yu. G. Chernyshov
2013 Bulletin of Kemerovo State University
The author analyses the perception of Belarus and Kazakhstan, their peoples and leaders in Russia. In general, the perception is relatively positive. It is not too overshadowed by the problems of the position of the Russian-speaking population, however, the image of the country may be influenced by the policies pursued by the leader of the country (the presence or absence of open contradictions and conflicting motives).
