To achieve this purpose a study sample of (96) students was selected from the seventh grade. This sample was divided into two groups. One group was randomly chosen to be the experimental group that studied geometry by using the program for developing mathematical communication skills , the other was the control group that studied using traditional method. The instruments of the study were an achievement test which was used to measure geometry achievement and retention of the students, and a questionnaire that used to investigate the attitudes of the student towards geometry. Data analysis procedures using appropriate T-test for independent samples revealed a positive effect of using the program for developing mathematical communication skills on enhancing the geometry achievement and retention of seventh grade students and their attitudes towards geometry.
