procedures. In addition, patients with CLI may be more likely to accept an endovascular procedure because of its less invasiveness rather than an open bypass procedure. Conclusion EVT is a feasible, safe, and effective procedure and can be the primary choice for revascularization of PAD. Open bypass surgery can be reserved for lesions technically unsuitable for endovascular procedures and patients who do not demonstrate clinical improvement after EVT.
