There has been an increase in the production of arugula in the organic system, however, there are few studies with organic fertilization in the production of this vegetable. ... zation (PF) with cattle manure (CM); only PF with CM + castor bean cake (CBC); only PF with CM + bokashi (BOK); PF with CM and TD with CBC; PF with CM and TD with BOK. The combination of CM with CBC or BOK before planting and PF with CM + TD with CBC were the treatments superior to the control for all characteristics related to production. Higher number of leaves, fresh weight per plant and plant height were obtained in the treatment with CM before planting + TD with CBC (27,9, 34,1 g and 33 cm, respectively). The incorporation of CBC or BOK can be done when planting together with CM in order to reduce labor costs, compared to its application in TD.
