The following lines present a panoramic view on the use of lethal force in Venezuela. The first part deals with the national context on this issue, its normative regulation, action protocols, policies and public debate on the subject. After describing the methodological aspects, the elaborated indicators are presented linked to the daily exercise of the use of lethal force by the State during the year 2017.
