Effect of addition of rat skin to the growth medium on the production of glycosidases by Trichophyton mentagrophytes

cosidase of Trichophyton mentagrophytes were isolated by ammonium sulfate fractionation and gel filtration. The addition of rat skin as a substrate was effective in enhanced production by T. mentagrophytes. Total activities of these enzymes in the culture filtrate reached the maximal level after 24 days incubation.
