Electron controlled chemistry
2009
Journal of Physics, Conference Series
The role of dissociative electron attachment in controlling electron induced chemical processes is discussed in terms of the unique characteristics of this process. The selectivity of molecular dissociation that exists in the gas phase using low energy electrons alone or in combination with laser excitation and in condensed phase are described and recent efforts in chemical control using electrons are summarized.
