New approaches for increasing the effectiveness of treating drug abusers are described. Unique in complexity and daring conception of treatment integrating the most promissing approaches applied in various fields of medicine, such as in psychiatry, neuropathology, psychotherapy, anesthesiology, is developed and presented. All the principles of therapy, that is clinical and pathogenetic reasons, complexity, correlation with the state of the patient and individuality of treatment, are respected.
