This project was done to learn the effects of cutting parameters on cutting force and roughness (surface roughnes) of AZ31 magnesium (Mg) alloy. Machining parameters involved in this project are cutting speed, feed rate, and lubrication methods. Deckel Maho DMU 50 eVolution high speed milling machine was using and uncoated carbide button insert was used as the cutting tool.
