Sr-ferrite sintered magnets were prepared by the spark plasma sintering method. This method brought the densification of Sr-ferrite at relatively low processing temperature and a remarkable short processing time . From the comparison of the magnetic properties of Sr-ferrite magnets produced by spark plasma sintering method with those by the usual ceramics method, a larger magnetization and a larger coercivity were easily and simultaneously obtained in the spark plasma sintering process.
