Chromones and Pyrazole derivatives were reported wide range of biological activities. Hence, it was planned to synthesize and screen for their antibacterial (in vitro) activity. A series of novel 2-acetyl-4-chlorophenyl pentafluorobenzoate derivatives were synthesized and evaluated for in-vitro antibacterial activity.
