Jerk-free Geneva wheel driving
1966
Journal of Mechanisms
Abstraet--A jerk-free motion of an internal Geneva wheel is obtained by using a special driving mechanism. For this mechanism a four-bar mechanism is chosen from which the coupler point drives the wheel. By special choice of the four-bar linkage the coupler curve can be made symmetrical and containing two Bali's points. For each number of stations the dimensions of the mechanism are tabled for optimal transmission angles and next to it also in those cases where the coupler point lies in one
