Yarn tension sensors are used extensively in industrial applications as well as in laboratories for research purpose. In many textile processes like warping, winding, unwinding and knitting, yarn is subjected to cyclic forcing due to motion of mechanisms and nature of the process. This causes a cyclic change in yarn tension and frequency of tension signal depends on process speed.
