Vestibular Compensation in Aged Guinea Pigs
To determine age-related changes in vestibular compensation we measured the fre quency of spontaneous nystagmus and yaw head tilt after unilateral labyrinthectomy. Albino guinea pigs were divided into two groups: the control group (3 to 12 months of age; n=8) and the aged group (36 to 39 months of age; n=3).
