Source of material In the context of acylsilane chemistry, we prepared the title compound by stereoselective intramolecular aldol reaction of 1,2,4,5tetrakis(2-oxo-2-trimethylsilylethyl)benzene according to [1] . Crystals suitable for X-ray diffraction analysis were grown by slow evaporation of a solution of the title compound in a 1:1:1 mixture of petroleum ether, chloroform and methanol.
