In recent years, the use of solar energy has become an alternative source of energy of great importance. Several researches and efforts have been concentrated on the improvement of the efficiency of photovoltaic systems and in the accessibility to this technology. In this sense, this work presents a buck converter controlled by P&O technique for the maximum power point tracking of the photovoltaic panel.
