Induction motors are used for many industrial purposes. They can act as electrical drives for many processes in many production processes. This paper will focus on how to improve the efficiency of these motors-3 phase squirrel cage induction motor (SCIM) in order to save electrical energy. This is because it has been experimentally observed that the efficiency of the induction motors is poor with low load conditions, hence more energy is wasted.
