Hydrogen (H)-and water (H 2 O)-storage and desorption characteristics of 25 nm thick Pt films on Li 2 ZrO 3 composite materials, exposed to normal air at room temperature, have been investigated by means of elastic recoil detection (ERD), Rutherford backscattering spectrometry (RBS), weight gain measurement (WGM), and thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS) techniques.
