Focusing on the problem of low computation efficiency in the process of tracking human 3D motion, the fast tracking algorithm for 3D arm motion based on Joint-Chain Motion Model (JCMM) is proposed based on the Particle Filter. In our algorithm, via the Joint-Chain Motion Model (JCMM) is defined, the arm motion state space can be discomposed into some low dimension subspaces, and the amount of particle in tracking can be reduced.
