In this paper we investigate some geometric properties of hypersurfaces embedded in a conformally flat manifold. We show that such hypersurfaces with certain conditions on its shape operator (viz., H 2 = λH + ρg with suitable choices of λ and ρ) admits semisymmetric and pseu-dosymmetric Weyl curvature tensors. We also establish the existence of such hypersurfaces by some suitable examples.
