A Rede de Sistemas Agroflorestais Agroecológicos do Sul do Brasil (Rede SAFAS) visa sistematizar diversos conhecimentos e experiências para propor ações transformadoras que ajudem a superar os obstáculos da multiplicação das agroflorestas. ABSTRACT The Network of Agroecological Agroforestry Systems of Southern Brazil (SAFAS Network) aims to systematize knowledge and experiences to propose transformative actions that help overcome obstacles to the multiplication of agroforests. For this we tested communication methodologies which facilitate the 'Dialog Among Different Knowledges and Ways of Knowing' (translation from: Martínez-Torres & Rosset 2014), including macro-workshops, participatory research synthesis and the collaborative production of educational materials. The macro-workshops became knots that tied the Network together and expanded it, improving links between local and distant communities, social movements and educational institutions, research and extension. Synthesis research facilitated the integration of scientific, technical and traditional knowledge through participatory methods, while the educational materials gave broader visibility to the Network's experiences. The interaction of diverse stakeholders broadened our knowledge of the obstacles and drivers of agroforests and created a dialogic and reflexive platform for future actions.
