The aim of the article is to present the issues related to the elaboration of postgraduate studies whose primary purpose is to prepare graduates to pass the ACCA exams at the Professional level. The course concept and content have been elaborated by the Faculty of Management of Gdansk University. Because the exams relate to specialized and advanced knowledge in finance and accounting, creating the curriculum required strict cooperation with an entity involved in the training of professionals.

As a result of these actions, the Faculty of Management of Gdańsk University supplemented its offer of postgraduate studies with the "ACCA Accounting -Professional Level" programme which includes five key modules from the Professional level.
